If you are replacing your windows, you likely want assurance that those windows will last for years to come. At Window World, we offer a competitive replacement window warranty* that can give you peace of mind. Our warranties also cover patio doors

Manufacturer's Limited Lifetime Warranty

Our windows and patio doors come with a manufacturer's lifetime limited warranty. This is good for as long as you own your home.

We also offer a repair labor warranty for issues covered under manufacturers' warranties. This means we will provide the labor necessary to address these issues, subject to any applicable limitations and restrictions.

What Does the Warranty Cover?

The warranties associated with our windows and patio doors cover a variety of issues. To get specific details, ask one of our team members during your consultation for more information.

Some things that may be covered under the warranty include:

Vinyl Parts

Vinyl windows should never blister, peel, rot, or corrode. This is one of the major benefits of this material compared to wood or metal window frames. If there are any issues with the vinyl parts of your window under normal use, they may fall under the warranty.

Mechanical Parts

Mechanical parts are warrantied to be free of defects in workmanship and material. Some examples include locks, vent stops, and balances. If these parts need to be replaced and they fall under the warranty, replacement parts will be supplied at no charge.

Insulated Glass Unit

There is a warranty for the double-pane insulated glass unit that covers any defects that result in material obstruction of vision. This can be due to film formation caused by dust or moisture in the space between the panes. This warranty applies to windows and patio doors.

Is the Warranty Transferable?

If you move, you can potentially transfer the warranties for your windows and patio doors to the new homeowner. In order to do this, you will need to provide all applicable paperwork to Window World. This includes a warranty transfer form. The transfer fee will also need to be paid. This process must be completed within 30 days of the sale of the home.

What Are Some Restrictions?

There are some limitations and restrictions that apply to warranties for our windows and patio doors. It's important to read the warranty material to get all of the relevant information in regard to these restrictions.

One that you should be aware of is that any routine maintenance is your responsibility as the purchaser of the window(s) and/or door(s). This includes caulking. Be sure to stay on top of maintenance in order to prevent any issues.
